Sign up with us to talk with neighbors about two important ballot measures that will bring millions in funding to our town, provide financial support for small businesses, and help create an equitable democracy for all Oaklanders. This is your opportunity to connect with voters one-on-one and help amplify the voices of flatland residents.

If we want to see change on issues like affordable housing, community safety, and quality schools,this election season we need to mobilize voters to the polls to vote progressive down the ballot, especially in support of:
1) Prop 5– The Housing Bond Threshold– which empowers local voters to approve bonds for affordable housing, critical public infrastructure, and emergency response in our communities with a 55% vote – if those bonds have strict accountability and oversight.
2) Prop 36 – The Repeal of Prop 47 – which would reignite the failed war on drugs, makes simple drug possession a felony, and wastes tens of millions of dollars on jails and prisons, while slashing crucial funding for victims, crime prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
